The Rea Charitable Trust was founded by Mrs. Isabel McClintic Rea in 2009 with the objective to support charitable, religious, scientific, literary, or educational endeavors, with a special emphasis on supporting the arts. It is administered by Comerica Bank & Trust, dedicating resources to continue Mrs. Rea's legacy.
The grant program of The Rea Charitable Trust is aimed at organizations engaging in charitable, religious, scientific, literary, or educational activities, with a special focus on supporting the arts. It has designated application periods based on the alphabetical order of organizations' names: January 1 to February 15 for names starting with A-L for the Spring grant meeting, and July 1 to August 15 for names starting with M-Z for the Fall grant meeting. Applications submitted outside these windows are not considered.
