It is administered by Comerica Bank & Trust, dedicating resources to continue Mrs. Rea's legacy.

It has designated application periods based on the alphabetical order of organizations' names: January 1 to February 15 for names starting with A-L for the Spring grant meeting, and July 1 to August 15 for names starting with M-Z for the Fall grant meeting. Applications submitted outside these windows are not considered.
