The Field Building Grant program is designed to support organizations that are committed to leadership development, particularly those working towards equity within the nonprofit sector. The grants aim to fund initiatives that: share core values of leadership development as defined in the funder's New York City grantmaking criteria, boast a proven track record in leadership research, development of promising models, or experimentation in program practices, and demonstrate a willingness to collaborate by sharing data and models with other grantees. While the program primarily focuses on New York City, it also extends support to organizations across the U.S. that align with its goals of innovatively building the leadership development field for the purpose of enhancing equity.
