The grant program features a straightforward application process designed to respect the limited time and resources of organizations. The SBBRG's Philanthropy Committee oversees this process, initiating with a review of applications on a rolling basis. Organizations selected as Nominees will undergo a brief conversation to discuss their mission and work, leading to a potential elevation to Finalist status. Finalists are then granted the opportunity to present their case via video conference for a chance to win a $5,000 grant. At least one Winner is selected monthly, with additional funding opportunities available from SBB Research Group. All other Finalists receive $1,000, highlighting the program's commitment to supporting varied organizations in their missions.
