Our mission is to connect people who care with causes that matter. We achieve this by providing services to donors, building and managing permanent endowments for the community, supporting the nonprofit sector through grants and trainings, and contributing leadership and civic engagement.
Skagit Community Foundation (SCF) aims to bolster local nonprofit organizations throughout the grant cycle, understanding their critical role in fostering a healthy and vibrant community. SCF’s grant program is inclusive and invites a diverse range of funding requests, including but not limited to basic human needs, arts & culture, youth development & education, and animal welfare. While there are no strict minimum or maximum grant amounts, awards typically range from $500 to $35,000, with an average grant falling between $7,000 and $12,000.
