    Overview

The USAID Mission in Guinea aims to implement the Guinea Local Health System Strengthening (GLHSS) activity to enhance local health systems in specified areas, enabling Guineans to receive better quality health care in community and public health facilities. This initiative, developed in collaboration with USAID/Guinea, USAID/Washington, the Ministry of Health, and health sector stakeholders, focuses on the co-design and co-engagement throughout its five-year implementation to identify health topics requiring additional information. The GLHSS serves as an overarching program that will not directly solicit concept papers or applications but rather outlines the goals, purposes, expected outcomes, and priorities for potential future funding rounds under this activity.
