The Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) is the humanitarian bureau of the State Department. PRM promotes U.S. interests by providing protection, easing suffering, and resolving the plight of persecuted and forcibly displaced people around the world.
The grant program is focused on activities that primarily support refugees and asylum seekers in Cameroon and Chad. It adheres to PRM's mandate by only considering funding for programs where at least 50 percent of the participants are refugees and asylum seekers.
