The Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) State Program, overseen by NRCS, aims to stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies. This funding opportunity invites applications for projects that will be carried out in the state of Virginia. A total funding pool of up to $1,200,000.00 is available for the Virginia CIG competition in Fiscal Year 2024. Eligible non-Federal, non-Foreign entities (NFE) and individuals, excluding federal agencies, are encouraged to apply. Projects funded under this program can have a duration of one to three years, with a maximum award of $900,000.00 for a single project in FY 2024.
