The Van Beuren Charitable Foundation aims to elevate the quality of life and quality of place for Aquidneck Island, Newport County, and nearby communities. Guided by four key priorities—Strong Starts, Healthy Lifestyles, Community Prosperity, and Excellence in the Commons—it supports nonprofit and public-sector projects that enhance education, health, economic opportunity, and community vitality. The foundation welcomes innovative, collaborative proposals at all stages—from pilot and planning initiatives to implementation and capital construction—and, while favoring Aquidneck and Newport County, will also consider projects elsewhere if they clearly benefit these communities.
