Founded in May 2019, the Winthrop Foundation is a 7-member, volunteer Board of Trustees whose mission is to offer grant funding to a range of programs and organizations in Winthrop to improve the quality of life of our community.
The Foundation’s mission is to address socioeconomic and environmental impacts on the Winthrop community, which arise as a result of projects, facilities and activities now being carried out and to be carried out in the future at Boston-Logan International Airport (“Logan Airport”) by Massport.
