The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin aims to enhance the betterment of communities in its nine-county service area through the support and management of community funds. Each fund, guided by a local volunteer advisory board, focuses on responding to the evolving needs of the community by distributing grants to various projects and programs.
The grant program of the Milton Fund awards grants once yearly to non-profits, the local school district, and local government agencies. These grants are dedicated to charitable programs and projects that serve the greater good of the community, reflecting the Fund's commitment to addressing the evolving needs of the community it serves. This encompasses a broad range of interests, including but not limited to historical preservation, environmental conservation, education, healthcare, support for youth, and elderly care initiatives.
