It aims to do so by funding projects that address needs within its interest areas, demonstrating a positive impact on the served organizations, projects, communities, or individuals. The Foundation supports initiatives that foster community cooperation, leverage additional funding, and build organizational capacity.
The grant program aims to support nonprofit organizations in Middlesex County that work towards the preservation, protection, and stewardship of lands, waterways, and wildlife habitats. This includes fostering ecosystems' health, livelihood, and enjoyment for local residents. The grant encourages innovative and collaborative approaches to environmental conservation, including engaging youth in environmental education, promoting broad partnerships, and fostering equitable conservation. Projects may range from existing programs to new initiatives, with funding requests up to $15,000. Applications that leverage additional funding sources and partnerships are preferred.
