    Overview

The VCCF Grants program, in partnership with FAO’s I’m A Child of Appalachia® Fund, offers grants to nonprofits, schools, and public organizations benefiting Vinton County residents. Grant areas include arts and culture, community and economic development, education, environmental stewardship, and health and human services. Special emphasis is placed on community-led projects and youth-led initiatives, promoting opportunities, meeting needs, and unlocking potential within the county. Funding amounts range from $500 to $2,500, with at least $10,000 available in total. Specifically, $5,000 is reserved for supporting youth-led projects, which are reviewed separately.
