Future For Nature supports young, talented, and ambitious conservationists committed to protecting species of wild animals and plants. It emphasizes the importance of individual commitment to the future of nature, aiming to inspire leadership that mobilizes communities, organizations, governments, investors, and the broader public.
The Future For Nature Award is a prestigious international accolade designed to celebrate and financially support individuals with tangible achievements in the protection of wild animal and plant species. It aims to reward exceptional conservation efforts, encourage the continuation of these efforts, and help recipients gain broader recognition and support within the conservation community. Three young, dedicated conservationists are awarded annually, receiving an award amount, a sculpture, and the opportunity to present their work at a special event in the Netherlands, with travel and accommodation expenses covered. From the applications received, 6 to 10 nominees are selected for further consideration, with the final three awardees chosen based on additional information they provide.
