DEED's Employment & Training Division grant program supports the development of an inclusive, skilled workforce, reducing disparities based on race, disability, and gender. It seeks innovative solutions to workforce and community challenges and builds partnerships to increase opportunities and provider performance. The "Targeted Populations Capacity Building Competitive Grants" aim to fund Minnesota community-based organizations to increase their capacity to provide workforce services and related training to historically underserved communities of color or low-income communities. These grants offer up to $49,000 for the biennium, with a minimum of $10,000.
