Richard L. and Diane M. Block Foundation Grant

    The mission of the Richard L. and Diane M. Block Foundation is to support The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts, enhance the quality of life in Alaska, particularly for its youth, cultural organizations, and social service organizations.     • Supporting education through an existing scholarship endowment at Alaska Pacific University, including scholarships for students graduating from Alaskan high schools outside the Municipality of Anchorage.
    • Underwriting scholarships through The Albert Baker Fund for Alaskan Christian Scientists.
    • Funding operations and capital improvement projects for cultural and arts organizations within the Municipality of Anchorage.
    • Supporting unnamed charitable and social service organizations in Alaska for operations, special programs, or capital expenditures, focusing on those with a minimum of five continuous years of service in Alaska.
