To protect and promote U.S. security, prosperity, and democratic values and shape an international environment in which all Americans can thrive.
The FY 2024 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) seeks to provide scholarships for one semester of non-degree study at U.S. higher education institutions to outstanding underserved students from various global regions including East Asia and the Pacific, Europe and Eurasia, the Near East, South and Central Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Western Hemisphere. The program emphasizes the selection of underserved participants and aims to support approximately 245 students, with the exact number pending the availability of FY 2024 funds. Eligible organizations are encouraged to demonstrate innovation in program planning and administration to maximize the number of scholarships awarded. Some participants might have the opportunity to engage in an additional semester focusing on pre-academic English language training.
