The Grants to Enhance Culturally Specific Services for Victims Program aims to support existing successful community-based programs and develop new innovative projects that are culturally specific. This includes ensuring victims facing obstacles to using traditional services and resources can access help that is culturally relevant and linguistically specific. The program prioritizes services primarily directed toward racial and ethnic minority groups defined broadly to include American Indians, Alaska Natives, Eskimos, Aleuts, Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, other Pacific Islanders, Blacks, and Hispanics. This grant program seeks to enhance access, maintain the quality of services, and develop strategies that are inclusive and accessible to diverse communities affected by domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
