Washington Women’s Foundation (WaWF) is dedicated to granting funds to various nonprofit organizations across Washington State. The foundation's core mission focuses on tackling inequities and ensuring equitable access to justice, housing, food, art, community culture, healthcare, environmental safety, fair labor, and education. Through their funding, WaWF aims to support changemakers and initiatives that promote equitable solutions to the state's most pressing challenges.
The Washington Women's Foundation's grant program aims to fund organizations that are actively working towards making systemic changes and addressing inequities in Washington State. The 2024 Funding & Learning Priorities are specifically targeted towards projects in three main areas: Arts & Community Culture, with a focus on expanding access to arts in schools; Housing & Hunger, prioritizing mental health and housing; and Law, Justice, and Incarceration, with an emphasis on re-entry support. The program supports those driving impactful work to disrupt systems of oppression and address the state's critical issues.
