The AWMS Committee, since its initiation in 2012, is committed to actively involve tertiary students in the realm of scientific wildlife management. Through recognizing the importance of hands-on experience in operational activities, policy development, and research within this field, it aims to attract and nurture young, passionate members.
The grant program aims to recognize and support practitioners demonstrating outstanding achievement in wildlife management. Specific support includes three years of free membership, free conference registration with a presentation slot, travel costs, a framed certificate, and a $1000 cash prize.
